I briefly mentioned Pet Paradise previously.
Here are pictures to prove how cute their dog clothes are!
Pet Paradise is found along Takeshita Dori. You won’t miss the shop! The adorable clothes will definitely catch your eye!
I brought my friends to try out Pineapple Ramen in Nishi-ogikubo the other time, and we had to eat hurriedly as there was a queue outside and my friends and I took up all the 7 seats exactly in the little shop.
So, after eating our ramen, my friend, Sean, brought us to this cute little coffeeshop nearby.
It was like a whole different world when you pushed open its doors.
The ambience was really lovely in this shop.
They serve cakes and coffee.
I went to Nishi-ogikubo for pineapple ramen and it surprised me with its charm.
There are a lot of interesting-looking coffeeshops and eating places in Nishi-ogikubo. Go at night where there’s a nice buzz all around the streets but not too crowded.
I really loved this place and hope you will pop by too. It’s really beautiful.
Tokyo Dome is probably mentioned in your guidebooks, and actually, Moomin Cafe and Bakery is probably mentioned too! So, this post is just about letting you decide whether Moomin Cafe is worth a visit.
Firstly, you enjoy free-flow bread when you dine at the cafe.
The breads are of different varieties and of a good standard! Hot, crusty, and fresh from the oven~
You get to sit with a random Moomin character. It’s rather interesting!
The food was alright. My friends and I ordered all the main courses on the menu, and I think mine was the best. Some meatball dish.
I can never resist ordering photogenic desserts, so here is a moomin cake! It has a cute name which I can’t remember. -__-” I’m so sorry. The cake was alright, pretty normal actually.
Chocolate cake was not worth ordering!
Only order this if you want to take a really cute photo. This was really bad. It’s supposed to be a green tea latte but the taste of green tea was entirely covered up by an extremely milky taste. I can’t stand milk (I’m lactose intolerant), so I really hated this. Couldn’t finish it. It is so bad that I can actually remember the taste of it. Haha!
Attached to the cafe is the bakery and it sells the cutest breads. The Moomin-pan above is filled with Custard Cream. I was tempted to buy the breads but I was too full after my brunch and I didn’t buy any.
Seriously, their breads look good! Try them and let me know if you like them!
There’s also a small section of Moomin goods for sale in the bakery.
If you are a real Moomin fan, do check this cute little cafe out! Place is easy to find. Take Marunouchi line to Korakuen station and walk to Tokyo Dome City. 🙂
When I went to Tokyo last year, I decided to buy some nice dog clothes for my brother’s newly adopted dog.
Alo Alo in Harajuku sells dog clothes, accessories, and snacks with a Hawaiian theme. I got a summer yukata for my dog at 1000yen!
Alo Alo is along Takeshita Dori. It’s really easy to find. Otherwise, there’s another shop, Pet Paradise, which is even easier to find. You can’t miss it. They sell the most adorable dog clothes. 🙂
Hi! My name is Apple and I used to write about my fascination for Japan in a previous personal blog, as well as more ‘formal’ ones for the now-defunct TokyoKawaiiEtc.
My friends often ask me many questions about traveling in Japan, and I’ve decided to create this blog to help everyone!
I’ve been to Tokyo many times now. I really love Tokyo! From the usual tourist attractions, I started to explore other not-so-touristy areas which I’d love to share with everyone.
It will take some time for me to write about all the places I’ve been to before and recommend. I probably won’t be able to share a lot of places I’ve been to before because many of my pictures are gone and my memory is really quite bad. 😦
What I will do is, start all over again, with my up-and-coming trip to Tokyo~!
I really hope you will enjoy my blog.
In the meantime, you can check out some articles I used to write in TokyoKawaiiEtc:
– Love Hotel Loire in Osaka (accommodation)
– Tore Tore Village in Shirahama (accommodation)
– Hatifnatt in Koenji (cafe)
– Kiyomizudera in Kyoto (Tourist spot)
– Rakeru in Jiyugaoka (restaurant/cafe)
– Cocoro Soup Curry in Shimokitazawa (restaurant/cafe)
It’s kind of difficult to locate all my posts now but I hope these will keep you interested for the time being while I update more and more posts on Japan! 🙂
