Pineapple Ramen in Nishi-ogikubo

Pineapple Ramen Place

Like I mentioned in my previous post, I went to Nishi-ogikubo, curious about Pineapple Ramen.

My friends and I arrived just when they opened for the evening, so we were the first 7 customers. A queue outside formed shortly.

Papapapapine Ramen!

So how does Pineapple Ramen fare?

Pretty darn awesome actually!

The soup was light and refreshing, the noodles bouncy and yummy, the meat tender and flavourful, the egg which was marinated in pineapple juice tasted of pineapple and it was just so good, the whole combination of this crazy bowl of noodles!

Pineapple-Juice-Marinated Ajitsuke Tamago

Unlike most other ramen I had before, this one doesn’t make me feel bloated and grossed out. This was really really good, and I craved for it really badly when I returned home from Tokyo.

This is really worth a try. I highly recommend it!!!!!!!

I brought my friends to try out Pineapple Ramen in Nishi-ogikubo the other time, and we had to eat hurriedly as there was a queue outside and my friends and I took up all the 7 seats exactly in the little shop.

So, after eating our ramen, my friend, Sean, brought us to this cute little coffeeshop nearby.

It was like a whole different world when you pushed open its doors.

The ambience was really lovely in this shop.

They serve cakes and coffee.

I went to Nishi-ogikubo for pineapple ramen and it surprised me with its charm.

There are a lot of interesting-looking coffeeshops and eating places in Nishi-ogikubo. Go at night where there’s a nice buzz all around the streets but not too crowded.

Lovely coffeeshop, Dante

I really loved this place and hope you will pop by too. It’s really beautiful.
